Susan Tebbs Susan Tebbs volunteers in visitor services at Edwin B. Forsythe NWR in NJ. Not only does she greet visitors to the headquarters building, she fields the wide variety of calls coming into the refuge on everything from how to help an injured animal to inquiries about refuge involvement in predator control and wilderness management. As a member of the Creative Garden Club at the refuge, she has helped the group select native grasses and flowers appropriate for their project of turning the area in front of the headquarters building into a model garden. Sue's willingness to help with whatever project and her warm enthusiasm have been of great benefit to the staff and the other volunteers. |
