Gary Caldwell Gary Caldwell began volunteering at DeSoto NWR after retiring from Omaha Public Schools in 1997. Besides maintaining the trails and monitoring the blue bird nest boxes, Gary helps with bird surveys and fishing clinics. He is also an avid wildlife photographer, providing images for Refuge murals and interpretive exhibits. |
