Christina Watson As Outdoor Recreation Planner and Centennial Coordinator for Bombay Hook NWR in Delaware, Christina Watson developed a coordinated series of centennial events designed to provide outreach to a broad target audience for Bombay Hook and the entire NWRS. Tina contracted for a Bombay Hook logo and visual theme to tie together the varied activities. By recognizing existing partnerships and helping to form new ones, the activities helped increase public appreciation for the wildlife habitat protected by the refuge as a valuable resource needing support. Tina implemented many new events, involving the surrounding communities, state and regional officials, conservation groups, and volunteers, and thereby obtained widespread press for the refuge. |
