Carole Reeves Carole Reeves provides welcoming hospitality to the many visitors to Okefenokee NWR in Georgia and serves as an ambassador for the community as well as to the community. She has helped bring city, county and state leaders together with refuge and regional FWS staff, and has hosted gatherings of various environmental organizations meeting to discuss and seek solutions to major issues of concern. By fostering a warm and informal atmosphere, she has helped make these meetings more productive and more conducive to continued interaction between the involved staff and officials. Meanwhile, her banana pudding and pound cake have become famous! Carole also volunteers through the Okefenokee Wildlife League and helps with the annual Okefenokee Festival. |
