Bill Radke

Bill Radke serves as manager of the San Bernardino and Leslie Canyon NWRs in Arizona. Coordinating with refuge staff, volunteers, and regional and international partners, Bill has helped obtain grants and initiate a variety of research and conservation projects in support of the rare species and crucial habitat in San Bernardino, Leslie Canyon and surrounding areas. Recent projects have documented four new species of native wildlife and monitored and promoted habitat restoration for other indigenous threatened and endangered species. Bill also works cooperatively to manage international border issues ranging from illegal immigrations to wetland restoration.
