NWRA
Provides Testimony at House Hearing on Concessions and Volunteering
On
June 26th, NWRA President Evan Hirsche appeared before the House
Subcommittee on Fisheries Conservation, Wildlife and Oceans to provide
testimony on refuge concessions legislation (H.R. 1204) and reauthorization
of the National Wildlife Refuge System Volunteer and Community Partnership
Enhancement Act of 1998 (H.R. 2408). Both bills are important because
they help to create greater public visibility and support for the
Refuge System.
